https://disqus.com/by/disqus_XJbjZC0JLD/. I think the reason why there are not so many Christmas songs in this Chart is because of course there was no such thing as ACR back in 2012 and also because they didn't count streams, it was only sales back then.

I think it's honestly more the latter than the former.

Christmas songs tend not to do as well on sales because everyone has already downloaded them, but they'll stream different ones whenever the festive season comes around for free!

There not being ACR would actually increase the number of Christmas songs in the charts right now, since ACR affects those more heavily than non-festive hits.

@coolocelot101. Have a look at this chart and see how much the Christmas songs have dropped. There are only 4 Christmas songs in this Chart where as the last Friday in December 2018 there were loads of Christmas songs in the top 100. Last Christmas has dropped from #35 to #87. That is a massive drop.

All the Christmas songs on this Chart have made massive drops. Some of them have completely vanished.
